KEY INSIGHTS

AI driven fraud is now the top threat named by South African enterprises, cited by 76.6%, up from 59.2% in 2024.

Concern about deepfakes has nearly tripled since 2024, from 7.5% to 21.9%

Only 24% of companies considered their identity management ‘very effective.’

54.7% of enterprises plan to invest more in identity verification (IDV) over the next 12 to 24 months, up from 34.8% in 2024.
